NOVEMBER, 2008 .....

 I know that being gone during the 3 weeks of December is leaving me a little stressed.. but yet very excited.. I still will continue to help in any way I can.. and I am leaving the media center in very capable hands with Mary Wilson and Anitia Irons..  Some other key persons who have agreed to help out with tech /or/ studio issues are:  MaryBeth, Jessica, Beth, Chris Lewis ... but feel free to email me or even skype me ... my skype name is      flomedia 

Just remember there is a 4 hour difference.     As far as storytimes -- I am leaving that decision up to Mary Wilson .. but I am sure she will want to continue.. the Sign up calendar will be on the counter in the Media center next week after the book fair is gone..   

I still have books to give away from weeding.. I did get a PhotoStory from 3 teachers ... ask them it wasn't hard... and certainly didn't take long --- Did it Billie??

 Here it is the new school year. I really hope everyone had a nice summer. We are going to have an exciting 2008-2009 school year. Can you believe we made an A school for the past 7 years? WE are GOOD!

This year I hope we can increase our community of learners using this school wiki.. for students and parents.. So I have done some rearranging and editing..    as usual it is a work in progress... a learning endeavor! 

 Here are the directions for inserting an image... 

Follow these simple steps:

1.Type a little bit about the picture

2. then click on the inset image button on the editing tool bar above.

3. Another browse window will open.. Find the digital picture on your computer. I suggest doing a resizing and export them to your desktop..  The ones I have done here are 320..

4. Click upload

5. Click OK...  And there they are!
